Family photography in Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and London

For families who want to remember how it felt

A family outdoors on a staircase, with a woman, a man, and two young children, one of whom is kissing the man on the nose.
A mother holding a smiling child wearing a knit hat with cherries, outside near boats and a curved wooden structure, during daytime.
A mother sitting against a white wall, smiling while holding two young children, one with curly hair and the other in a knit hat, all dressed warmly.
A woman with long brown hair, wearing a beige sweater and jeans, holds a small baby in her arms outdoors amid trees and greenery, with a natural, serene setting.
A father holding two young children, one on each arm, while they sit on tree branches in a forested area with trees and foliage in the background.

We rarely regret the photographs we took,
only the moments we didn’t.

Time moves softly, often unnoticed.
One chapter folding quietly into the next, long before we realise how much has changed.

I photograph maternity, newborn, and family life across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, and London,
creating images that feel natural, timeless, and entirely your own.

From the tender stillness of early days at home,
to the unfiltered joy of toddlers,
to the quieter, deeper rhythms of family life as it evolves.

More than photographs, these are a way of holding onto what is fleeting.
Of keeping the feeling of now, just a little longer.

Finding beauty in both the chaos and the calm

These sessions are led by your children.
Not posed. Not performed.

Just space to play, explore, and be together,
exactly as you are.

The experience

What you're investing in

This isn’t a session where you have to perform.

It’s a slower, guided experience shaped around your family, your children, and the way you naturally connect. I’ll gently guide when it helps, and step back when it doesn’t.

Your gallery is edited with a timeless finish.

Delivered ready for printing, framing, and keeping. Photographs made for your home, your albums, and the story your family will one day tell.

Family Photography · Kent + Beyond

The heart of your family, as it truly is.

Not a performance. Not a polished version of family life.
Just the way it feels to be together, with all the warmth, movement, and beautiful unpredictability that makes it yours.

The Experience

FamilySessions

A relaxed, intuitive approach to documenting connection, character, and the rhythm of your family life.

Family life is made up of fleeting things. Belly laughs, muddy knees, soft hands in yours, the way they lean into you without thinking.

I photograph families as they are, gently guided when needed, but never over-directed, so the images feel natural, honest, and entirely your own.

Whether we meet at home, in the countryside, or somewhere woven into your family story already, the session is shaped around connection rather than performance.

  • Pre-session consultation and tailored questionnaire
  • A thoughtfully curated style guide to help you prepare
  • Up to 2 hours of relaxed photography at home or on location
  • 15 carefully edited digital images from your private gallery
  • Complimentary access to my client wardrobe for mums and babies under 6 months
  • Travel beyond 20 miles from Tunbridge Wells may incur a small travel fee
From £375

For the whole story

Location

Across Kent and beyond

I’m based in Tunbridge Wells, photographing families across Kent, East Sussex, Surrey, and London. Sessions take place outdoors in the countryside, along the coast, or in the comfort of your home.

If you’re unsure where to go, I’ll suggest a small selection of locations that suit your family, the season, and the quality of light, so everything feels considered, without ever feeling over-planned.

Your Questions, Answered.

From what to wear and where to shoot, to wriggly toddlers and gallery delivery, here’s what families ask most often. If anything isn’t covered below, just drop me a message.

Not at all. Most families feel that way at the start. I’ll guide you gently, give you something simple to do, and keep things moving so it never feels stiff or performative. You won’t be asked to “pose” for long. We’ll focus on connection, closeness, and the natural rhythm of you.
That’s completely normal, and I plan for it. We build in time to warm up, wander, cuddle, snack, and reset. I’ll meet your children where they are, and we’ll follow their lead. Some of the most beautiful images come from the in-between bits, not “perfect” behaviour.
Either at home (for a quieter, lived-in feel) or outdoors in the Kent countryside and coastline. If you’re not sure what suits you, I’ll help you choose based on the season, the ages of your children, and the kind of atmosphere you’re drawn to.
Think soft, simple, and comfortable. Neutral and earthy tones photograph beautifully, and textures (knits, linen, denim) add depth without shouting. I can share a short styling guide once you’re booked, and I’m always happy to help you pull outfits together.
If it’s unsafe or truly miserable, we’ll reschedule. If it’s “British weather” (cloudy, breezy, a little drizzly), we can often still shoot and make something beautiful from it. I’ll advise honestly, and we’ll decide together.
Your private online gallery is typically delivered within 3–4 weeks, depending on season. You’ll be able to download, share, and order prints directly if you’d like to turn your favourites into something tangible.
To secure your date, there’s a booking fee and signed contract. The remaining balance is due shortly before your session. I’ll send everything clearly with your invoice, so it’s all simple and sorted.
A LAST THING

If you want to talk it through, I’m here.

Tell me a little about your family, the season you’re in, and the kind of photographs you’re drawn to. I’ll come back with availability, next steps, and the collection that fits.
